Die Casting Supervisor Job August 2023
08/10/2023 – For nearly 30 years, Kinetic Die Casting Company has been a small manufacturing company located in the Los Angeles, California area. We make aluminum die casting parts and zinc die casting parts for our manufacturing customers. We are looking to hire a Die Casting Production Supervisor. This is a full time job, 40 hours a week, for a person experienced in die casting supervision or manufacturing supervision. This person will sometimes assist with production scheduling, supervise die casting machine operators, supervise die casting machine setups, and supervise production personnel. This person should already live in Southern California to be considered. No job applicants from other countries will be considered.

Brass Die Casting Lighting Fixtures are a Good Choice 2020
Why Brass Die Casting Lighting Fixtures are a Good Choice. There are two very common techniques used in making lighting fixtures out of brass – sheet lighting fixtures and brass die casting lighting fixtures. In the case of sheet brass fixtures, they are created by taking sheets of solid brass then bending the brass sheets into the desired shapes. This can be accomplished by making use of a high-pressure machine press. The machine press will stamp the brass sheets into their molded shapes. In comparison to die cast brass, sheet brass is much thinner. It is however more economical.
Brass die casting lighting fixtures on the other hand, make use of molds. Liquid brass will be poured into these molds to form the lighting fixtures. Most manufacturers and suppliers prefer die cast molds because of their quality and durability. For parts and fixtures that require consistent fits, efficient finishes and tight tolerances, brass die casting is well preferred. A method called sand casting is often used as an alternative to die casting. In this method a temporary mold made from packed sand is used. Brass is poured into the sand mold and when the brass hardens, the sand mold is broken away. This however does not come close to the efficiency and preciseness of die cast molds.

Presidents Day 2018
The third Monday in February is Presidents’ Day. Washington’s Birthday was a United States federal holiday.
This holiday, celebrated on the third Monday of February in honor of George Washington, our first President of the United States. Now, this day is known as Presidents Day, and is often an occasion to remember all the U.S. presidents, not just George Washington’s actual birthday, February 22 or Abraham Lincoln, whose birthday is February 12th. The term “Presidents’ Day” used to change the holiday into a day honoring multiple American presidents.
Recently, the February holiday is a day in which many retail stores, especially furniture stores and car dealerships, hold discount sales. Until the late 1980s, banks and corporate businesses closed on this day, similar to present corporate and bank practices on Memorial Day or Christmas Day. With the late 1980s advertising push to rename the holiday, more retail businesses are staying open during the holiday each year, and, as on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Veterans Day and Columbus Day. Many colleges and universities hold regular classes and operations on Presidents’ Day. Most U.S. Postal Service delivery services offer regular service on the day.
