Ray Fish Electro Adapter My Obituary

I always found Ray to be very intelligent, and a shrewd business man. He would be 90 years old, if he were alive today. I met Ray Fish of AQ Die Casting/Electro Adaptor on 12/11/03 when my maintenance manager, Victor Ortega, gave me his name telling me that Ray had two Toshiba die casting machines for sale, a 350ton and a 400ton with ladlers prints and manuals. The machines did not work so Ray wanted $5,000 for both die casting machines. AQ Die Casting Electro-Adaptor (https://www.electro-adapter.com/)

In 09/15/12, Ray Fish contacted me to say that he was closing down AQ Die Casting but keeping Electro Adapter. Ray sent me several dies and tooling for several customers. Since then, Ray was on my cookie and almond roca list.

On 11/11/21, I received this email from Ray regarding my Christmas almond roca update. “Thank you for the thought I lost my sweetheart and best friend 2 weeks ago to the virus 69 years of bliss. God Bless her for being there for me as always. My holidays will be memories Be Safe & Be Well, Ray”

In 1969, Ray Fish founded AQ Die Casting/Electro Adapter. Ray was involved with die castings since the 1950s. He took over operations from Barron Die Casting in the late 1960s or early 1970s.

In 1979, ten years later, he moved operations to a 54,000 square foot facility in Chatsworth, California. The Chatsworth facility, completed in 1979, is devoted to the design, development, production and qualification of connector accessories.

Electro Adapter, Inc. manufactures and supplies connector accessories, conduit assemblies, and accessory banding systems for aerospace, military, marine, railroad, and industrial automation markets. It specializes in thin-wall aluminum and zinc castings. The company offers die-castings, bulkhead adapters, extenders, connector savers, protective covers, shorting cans, banding tools, and composites; and accessories for D-sub, micro-D, circular, and ARINC rectangular connectors. It also provides casting, machining, trimming, de-burring, plating, inspection, and metal finishing services for commercial and mil spec applications; and tool and mold design and fabrication, surface treatment, painting, and assembly services. The company is based in Chatsworth, California.

Kineticdc Closed for July 4th 2024 Holiday

Happy 4th of July 2024 from Kinetic Die Casting Company. We are closed Thursday, July 4th 2024 in celebration of our nations independence. We will be closed as usual on Friday also. God Bless America
God Bless America

Independence Day celebrates the signing of our Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. The Continental Congress declared that the thirteen American colonies regarded themselves as a new nation, the United States of America, and were no longer part of the British Empire. The Congress actually voted to declare independence two days earlier, on July 2.

Independence Day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games, family reunions, and political speeches and ceremonies, in addition to various other public and private events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the United States. Independence Day is the National Day of the United States.

As Americans gather to celebrate Independence Day, they also look towards the future with optimism and hope, mindful of the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. The 4th of July serves as a reminder that the principles enshrined in the Declaration of Independence — equality, justice, and democracy — remain as relevant today as they were over two centuries ago. It is a day to reaffirm our commitment to upholding these ideals and building a brighter, more inclusive future for generations to come.

The 4th of July is more than just a holiday — it is a testament to the enduring spirit of a nation founded on the principles of liberty and self-determination. As Americans gather to celebrate this hallowed day, they do so with a sense of pride in their shared heritage and a determination to uphold the values that define the American experience. From fireworks to family gatherings, the 4th of July is a celebration of freedom, unity, and the boundless possibilities of the American dream.

We purchased this new machine from the same company that produced the “Tesla Giga Press Die Casting Machine” used to make Tesla cars. Of course, our machine is about 10 times smaller than the 4,000 Ton Giga Press.

The automation on the machine makes die casting parts more consistent in quality and quantity. This new 2024 die casting machine will give Kinetic Die Casting Company opportunities to produce better quality die casting parts for our manufacturing customers by using new machine technology and better hydraulics and metal pressures. With our additional die casting production capacity, this new machine will also give our customers faster die casting part deliveries. Our customers will receive their die casting parts shipments even faster.

MK Diamond Company Closed

Kinetic Die Casting Company started doing business and making die casting parts for MK Diamond Products in 2016, when Art Mold Die Casting Company Closed.

Then a few months later in 2017, Cox Die Casting Company closed. Cox Die Casting Company Closed. We received the majority of the die casting tooling from Cox Die Casting Company. I could not get anyone on the phone the last few weeks I have tried calling. I was getting a recording about the line is disconnected. When I called the 800 number, it went immediately to a busy signal. I sent numerous unanswered emails to many of the people I knew there, with no response. I drove down to their place of business on 4/09/24, and the building is closed down. I could not get anyone to answer the door. I found online details (January 2024 and February 2024) about a MK Diamond equipment auction where everything in the company was listed for sale. I also found a legal eviction process from their building, it is sadly clear that MK Diamond Products Company is Closed.

MK Diamond Die Casting Parts
MK Diamond Company History Remembered. San Francisco, circa 1860 – MK Diamond Products business started in San Francisco in 1868 by Joseph Musto, a fifth-generation Italian stone-cutter and tile-setter, whose ancestors were known as master craftsmen. He brought the skills of his forefathers to his new home in America and established the Musto Steam Marble Mill. The trademark of the business was its pledge to quality work and service. The Musto family believed that, good enough was never really good enough. It is from this work ethic that MK Diamond continues its unrelenting pursuit to producing quality products.

MK Products in Los Angeles, circa 1940 – In late 1919, Joseph’s son, Clarence, came to Los Angeles. By 1949, the newly named Musto-Keenan Company had gained a reputation for making top quality diamond tools to cut marble and tile faster and more efficiently. Beginning in 1977, and under the leadership of Robert J. Delahaut, the company moved in a direction that has established itself as a world leader for precision power cutting tools and diamond blades. We are committed to making our products and services the benchmark by which the rest of the industry will measure itself.

MK Diamond Products, as a manufacturing company customer, purchased a lot of die casting parts from Kinetic Die Casting Company. They usually bought 300, 500 or 1000 die casting parts at a time.

159487 Switch Box Casting
159539 Switch Box Cover Casting

MK Diamond Products had a lot of off shore competition so they had a difficult time financially. MK Diamond always gave feedback on their production part’s needs and communicated very well with our company, Kinetic Die Casting Company. We will miss the MK Diamond company and the people that worked there.
