Halloween 2017
Tomorrow night is Halloween night. Watch out for the little ghouls and goblins.
Be Careful of children driving home this week. Halloween is fun for children to trick or treat. The costumes are sometimes dark so that the children “appear” scary. The dark costumes are difficult to see after sunset. Some smaller kids get excited and run across the street without looking. Please be careful while driving at night.

People Prefer Die Cast Parts. Die cast consumer parts are now the popular choice among the general public, including households and businesses. First of all, the consumer parts produced through die casting are of better quality than those produced by stamping, forging, extrusion, mold casting, and other manufacturing processes.
Various companies today are contracting die casting companies to produce consumer parts that are to be used for modern industrial purposes. Examples of the die castings used by consumers today are found in cellular phones, computers, automobiles, industrial machines, and even in toys, plumbing components, and kitchen metal parts. Truth is, almost every important thing we use in our daily lives has die castings installed in them; we are just unaware of how these were manufactured and what processes were done to incorporate these die castings in them.
Majority of these are aluminum die castings. This is due to obvious reasons. First, aluminum is one of the most abundant metals on earth. Its supply is almost unlimited. Especially in the manufacture of cars, this light weight of aluminum contributes greatly to the ability of the car to get better fuel economy. Other advantages of aluminum include the fact that it is recyclable, malleable and corrosion-resistant. Given these benefits, it is no wonder why major manufacturing companies are now turning to aluminum as an alternative to other metals such as steel or iron.

2017 Die Casting Companies in Southern California
California Manufacturing and Die Casting Companies are closing for many reasons. In December 2016, I updated an article that detailed the remaining 21 die casting companies in Southern California. Now this year, there are three fewer Southern California die casting companies in 2017. Art Mold Die Casting Company closed in June 2016 and Rangers Die Casting Company sold in September 2016 and Cox Die Casting Company closed March 2017.
