Low Volume Die Casting Supplier 2023
Kinetic Die Casting Company makes thousands of die casting parts every day. Some customers need 100,000 die casting parts a year. Others, fewer. KDC has a few types of customers that purchase lower quantity production die casting parts, less production parts or fewer die cast parts than the typical manufacturing company. Some customers order fewer than 100 die casting parts in a year. Once the die casting tooling is made, the cost to make a few castings is much less than when a manufacturer is getting started.
This manufacturing company customer buys 75 of these die casting parts on a purchase order.
We have a purchase order to make 200 of these parts and ship them in quantities of 7 parts up to 20 parts at a time.

Kinetic Die Casting April 2023
All of our customers are manufacturers. This year is challenging to many manufacturing companies. Both good and bad challenges. A few of our manufacturing company customers are struggling to stay in business. A few of our customers are faced with higher production and delivery demands than ever before. At Kineticdc, we are not different from other manufacturing companies. We are having negative challenges with unusually high natural gas costs, difficulty in finding and training qualified labor workers as well as experienced die casting managers. We are also struggling with our cash flow as a result of all the negative issues above. The good challenge is that we are headed in 2023 to the best manufacturing year ever by working extra hours and more production shifts for our customers’ increased demand.

Natural Gas Cost Increases January 2023
Kinetic Die Casting Company’s recent SoCal Gas bill has more than tripled (300%+) in the last 12 months. On 01/23/23 our natural gas cost from Southern California Gas Company increased to $3.75 per Therm from $1.15 per Therm cost in the same time period last year, 2022. Our utilities cost has increased over the last year but this month was the largest increase of over 200% and the largest cost we have ever experienced. We use a lot of natural gas to melt our die casting metal alloys in our manufacturing process. This Southern California Gas Company natural gas cost increase is the largest gas cost increase I have seen, as far as I can remember, in almost 30 years of owning Kinetic Die Casting Company. I have no choice but to include a gas energy surcharge on all Kinetic Die Casting Company invoices starting today. That gas surcharge will be updated monthly as our new gas bill arrives on the 22nd of each month.

REACH and RoHS 3 Compliant 2022
Kinetic Die Casting Company Parts use RECYCLED Materials in our die casting metal alloys. Kineticdc complies with the EU RoHS 3 standards. Die casting alloys have less than 0.1% of any of the REACH chemicals.
REACH
Registration: Chemical producers are required to register safety data for all chemicals produced.
Evaluation: Experts from member states and the European Agency evaluate safety data for higher volume chemicals and other chemicals of concern.
Authorization: Chemicals that are “substances of very high concern” (SVHC) are to be phased out and replaced with safer alternative chemicals.
Chemicals Restriction: Chemicals may be completely banned or some uses of the chemicals can be restricted
RoHS REACH Compliant
REACH and RoHS 3 Compliant 2022
REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals, EC 1907/2006) is the European Union’s chemical regulation that requires that chemical substances on their own, in preparations and all intentionally released substances from articles must be registered with the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).
The regulation applies to substances manufactured in, or imported to the EU in annual quantities of 1 ton or more. According to the REACH requirements on Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) a supplier of manufactured and imported articles shall provide customers with information on SVHC if they are present above a concentration limit of 0.1 % on an article level. SVHC will be defined through the list of candidate substances for authorization that is produced by the European Chemicals Agency.
