Kinetic Die Casting Company makes Die Casting Aluminum Boxes

Kinetic Die Casting Company makes Die Casting Aluminum Boxes. If you are looking for boxes which can provide security to the electronic components of your equipment, Kinetic Die Casting makes Die Casting Aluminum Boxes. Kinetic Die Casting Company is an American Jobshop Aluminum Die Casting Company that manufactures the aluminum parts used in the products of Original Equipment Manufacturers or OEM’s. The company is now 15 years old and is currently located in North Hollywood, California.

Kinetic Die Casting Company makes die cast aluminum boxes through the manufacturing process which requires the use of a die casting machine which will inject molten aluminum into a die cast or steel die cast mold. This process will produce the aluminum die cast parts which are used by the company in manufacturing their high quality products. Since the boxes are produced through die casting, the boxes are more durable and stable. These boxes are also competitively priced and can be used for communication devices, motors, electrical junction boxes and elbows, trucks, automobiles, and computer parts. They also produce boxes which are painted, polished, ball burnished, or assembled depending upon the need of the customers. In case the aluminum boxes or parts received by the customers are not right, Kinetic Die Casting Company will replace the product or parts at no additional charge.

Saddened by manufactures going out of business

I am saddened by manufactures going out of business over the last few years. My company supports manufactures by producing aluminum die castings and zinc die castings for their products. In the last few years, some of my customers could no longer stay in business. Subsequently, my company, Kinetic Die Casting Company suffers.

In an effort to stay ahead of this crisis, I purchased assets of three die casting companies that were going out of business. Those companies were:
* C&D Die Casting Company
* Spencer Diecasting Company, and
* Coast Die Casting Company.

These three small die casting companies have provided my company with more sales and have diversified our customer base to assist during our normal seasonal shipment lulls. Kinetic Die Casting Company is position to grow rapidly when the U.S. economy returns in full vigor.

C and D Die Casting Company

Twice in the last three days, I was called to visit a company that did business with C and D Diecasting Company. C&D went out of business in 2004 because of Workers Compensation issues. CD die casting company was located in Chatsworth California. Jay Clifford was the owner of C&D Die Casting, he also owned Clifford Tooling and Machining.

Jay Clifford of C D Die Casting Company sold me the tooling, mold bases and holders for die casting molds. Because I now own the holders I can produce parts for anyone that was doing business with C and D Die Casting Company.

The first company I visited, took their tool away in 2004 as C and D Die Casting was closing down and sent the tool to a die casting company in Burbank called Royal Die Casting. In 2009, Royal Die Casting Company closed also. They need parts and found my company, Kinetic Die Casting Company, through another company I purchased called Coast Die Casting Company.

The second company I visited, has not purchased parts since 2004 when C D diecasting company closed down.

I am happy they found my company and I know they are happy we can help them.

Pressure Die Casting Aluminum Lighting Parts vs Sand Casting

Pressure Die Casting Aluminum Lighting Parts vs Sand Casting. Aluminum sand casting tooling roughly costs from $500 – $7,500, depending on the size and complexity. Pressure die cast tooling on the other hand costs from $5,000 – $75,000, again depending on the size and complexity of the die cast parts. However, tooling can create from 100,000 parts to as much as 1,000,000 pressure die casting parts.

In sand casting, the molds or patterns are used to make sand molds. The preparation and bonding process of sand molds is the most critical step in the process. This technique is usually used for high volume production.

With die casting, the mold is usually made of metal like cast iron or steel. They are generally not destroyed but are made permanent. There are several types of die casting, the most widely used being high pressure die casting. 50% of light alloy casting production are made from high pressure die casting.

Sand casting and pressure die casting processes vary from some hundred to some thousand parts. The cost of tooling and machinery is required for aluminum sand casting that is not normally required in the die casting process due to its tighter tolerance of the pressure die cast process in making the aluminum parts.
