Pressure Die Casting Aluminum Audio Speaker Parts vs Gravity Casting
Pressure Die Casting Aluminum Audio Speaker Parts vs Gravity Casting. Pressure die casting is a manufacturing process used to create aluminum brackets, parts, chassis, audio speakers and more. These metal parts can be seen almost anywhere and everywhere, making them integral in our day to day lives. Pressure die casting initially melts the aluminum metal. The molten metal is then injected into a mold under great pressure. Afterward, it is set aside to cool for a while. When the Mold is opened, it reveals the finished die casting. Because of this fast and easy process, thousands of parts can be made every day.
Gravity casting uses the similar manner as sand casting. It uses the force of gravity rather than high pressure to fill the mold with the molten aluminum metal. Gravity casting is most fitting for mass production and full mechanized casting. One advantage over gravity casting is that they usually give a better surface finish and mechanical properties, due to its slower cooling rates compared to pressure die casting.
Compared to gravity casting, pressure die casting requires less machining. Die castings can cast holes depending on how and where you want it. Die castings give closer and more accurate dimensions, plus it can be produced at a larger scale, with less labor costs per casting.

UPS Expands to China
UPS plans to significantly increase its global service parts logistics (SPL) network by establishing 101 new field stocking locations (FSLs) in China.
With the expansion, UPS will cover 89 cities across China with more than 110 bonded and non-bonded FSLs. Companies in a variety of industries that require same-day and/or next-business-day delivery of critical service parts will be served by UPS’s expansion. Examples of these industries include high-tech/electronics, medical equipment and aerospace.
The FSLs in China, like their counterparts across the globe, will utilize the UPS Post Sales Order Management System (OMS), a Web-based system that enables companies located anywhere in the world to assess their critical parts inventory, determine the most optimal routing strategy to meet customer needs, place orders online and track parts from the warehouse to the end user.
In 2009, UPS announced the expansion of its global FSL network in India and the opening of a new customer support center in the Philippines to meet SPL needs in Asia.
UPS’s SPL network features more than 950 FSLs in 120 countries. This global footprint, which is fully integrated with the company’s global transportation network, helps enable companies to locate their products closer to their customers and suppliers. UPS’s SPL services include: critical parts order fulfillment for inbound inventory, warehousing and management of critical parts worldwide; returns and recycling management; and parts and inventory planning.

Kinetic Die Casting Company makes Cast Aluminum Parts for Music
Kinetic Die Casting Company makes Cast Aluminum Parts for Music. Amplifiers were first used for electronic keyboards and bass guitars, but have since then expanded to other instruments for a full range speaker system and power level. Amplifier is required to reproduce the low frequency pitches produced by electronic keyboards and bass guitars especially at higher volumes.
The guitar amplifier chassis is produced in aluminum through Kinetic Die Casting Company. Aluminum is often used are in solid states, because they are lightweight, easy to repair and less expensive. However, some guitarists prefer vacuum tube amps despite it being heavy weight and expensive. Many of them prefer vacuum tube guitar amplifiers because of the sound it makes, particularly in blues and rock music genres. Modern tube amplifiers are designed to no longer require tube biasing making it simpler for its users.
Here are some features of Guitar Amplifiers made from cast aluminum parts:

Boeing Receives Purchase Orders Aircraft 787 Dreamliner
Boeing has received 851 orders for its long-range 787 Dreamliner plane from 56 airlines, the head of Boeing France said on Jan. 19, describing the tally as “historic.”
Yves Galland said that the order total took account of 84 cancellations, 83 of which were received last year.
But he said the order total was “historic for the launch of an aircraft.”
The first of the planes will be delivered to the Japanese carrier ANA in the last quarter of 2010.
Because of composite materials used in its construction, the 787, which has made 15 test flights but is two years behind schedule, can cut fuel consumption by 20%, according to Galland.
“We are very aware of the problems that we have encountered but we are very confident about the future,” he added.

Chassis are Aluminum Too
Chassis are Aluminum Too. Manufacturers are maximizing the abundance of aluminum. Nowadays, people can see aluminum everywhere: in their houses, offices, streets. This is because aside from the fact that aluminum is very easy to acquire, it also has different chemical and thermal properties that are suitable in different equipments. You can see aluminum from very simple parts like lighting fixtures to complicated ones like automotive parts. The production of aluminum parts depends on how precise the parts should be.
Chassis is one of the examples that can be produced using aluminum. Aluminum is a perfect choice for this because aluminum can withstand high temperatures and people know that generally, chassis is exposed to high temperatures may it be in cars or musical equipments. One of the processes that can be used in chassis production is die casting. In this process, the metal will be melted by exposing to extremely high temperature and will be injected in the mold or “die”. The die will be set aside until the metal solidified and then the casts or the parts will be removed to the die. In one die, many aluminum chassis casts can be made and the production is also faster as compared to other metals. This makes aluminum so economical for the abundance and mass production possibilities.
